We made a wish list a few weeks ago and hung it in Ellie's room of a few things she had been asking for. For weeks now, the list was made up of 3 things.
1. a goldfish
2. new sparkly shoes
3. glow-in-the-dark chalk
Sunday night she asked for a pen and she added 2 more things.
4. brother
5. big kid bike
hmmmm
The best part is that on Monday, when I picked her up from school, one of her teachers asked me if Elle was 'getting a brother'. As if you can just go to the store and pick one up. Actually if it was that easy, maybe she would be getting a brother.
