The McDonalds by our house was knocked down a few months ago and replaced by a shiny new McDonalds. The old one was cool, it had a McNASA McShuttle playground. The swanky new one opened today at 5am.
Last night on the way to the pool I noticed some people sitting outside the door on lawn chairs. And then I looked up and read the sign under the golden arches announcing that the first 100 customers in the door this morning at 5am would get free food for one year.
And let me tell you that if I didn't have a child, a full time job and a couple of pants that fit a little more snug than they used to, I would have grabbed a lawn chair and parked it for the night to secure myself some free fries, nuggets and sweet tea for a year.
