Freak Out

One night last week on our way home, Elle was trying to pull a pony tail clip out of her hair and it got stuck. So she totally freaked out.
"Its stuck, its stuck! I can't get it out! Mom, take it out, its STUCK!"
"Elle I can't reach back there, just pull it gently or leave it in until we get home."
After a few minutes, she finally worked it out on her own. And she says to me with the sound of exhaustion in her voice that can only be followed by a full-on freak out...
"Did you say you had a juice box?"
"Yes...I do" I said kind of laughing because of how pathetic she sounded.
"What kind is it?"
"Orange"
"Okay, I'll take it"

Makes sense that a juice box is the thing that takes the edge off for a 2 year old.
