Monday- guess they are not all bad

Yesterday when we got to Mimi's it was all rainy and windy. When Elle got out of the car, she stood in the driveway and said "You can go in, I want to stay here and listen to the wind."

Last night at bed time, Elle was not tired enough to fall right to sleep, shocking, right? So we were laying there talking for a little bit and then I rolled over with my back to her- this is the only way I can get her to eventually stop talking to me and settle down to go to sleep. She sits up and pulls me toward her, kisses my forehead and says "Sweet dreams, Mom."
