The Sweetest Thing

Elle said to me on Thanksgiving "Mom...can you tell me a story about you when you were little?"

Friday night she saw a picture of Aidan and Clare and said "Dad, I miss Aidan and Clare."

Today she said to me "Let's talk together about what we want for Christmas."

I bought her some super cute clips at the Open House we went to this afternoon and after I gave them to her I was walking out of the room and she looked up and said "Thanks Mom...I like these clips."

Tonight after her bath, we turned on the tv and there was a commercial for the Barbie Dream Town House and we both started freaking out (everyone knows how I feel about the Barbie Dream House). I said "Oh Ellie that thing is so cool, I had that when I was your age!" And she turned around and looked at me with these rosy little cheeks and the sweetest little look on her face and said "You were my age? You were little?"
