Yesterday we dropped Wade off at the airport for his trip to Colorado. We were all supposed to go, but I could not get away from work so Elle stayed home to keep me company. Its weird, I am always bugging Wade that everything we do is a "family affair" and yet when one of us is missing I am totally thrown off. I don't think it helps that I am getting my butt kicked by a sinus infection right now and summer finally decided to arrive so it is super hot and sticky outside. Yes, we gave in and turned on our AC - I would not have survived this week feeling as bad as I do if we hadn't...defeat.
Anyway, Elle and I have big plans tonight for a movie night tonight, fully equipped with popcorn, pizza and cupcakes. Seems like a good way to kick off our girls weekend.
