Well, I like the new bangs, but its been about a month since they came on the scene and they are looking a little unruly. So I was asking my hair guru how often I need to trim the bangs and she suggested I do it myself! Amazing what confidence others can have in you. When I told her that it would cost me $5 to trim them, she pointed out that it is not that hard and that I could do it for FREE. Hmmm, I can't even get Elle's hair into a pony tail, much less cut my own bangs. But my friend seemed so sure of me, I had no choice but to take on this challenge.
So....I did it! And it came out ok. I mean they might not be exactly straight, but at least I can see and I saved myself $6 ($5 trim + $1 tip). The guru also pointed out that I really over did it by tipping $3 on a $5 bangs hair cut. "That's a 60% tip!" she said. So much knowledge to share, what a good friend!
