Elle wanted to have her Saturday morning swim in the tub, so I filled up the tub, added some bubbles and put her in her bathing suit. She was in there about a half hour when she yelled to me "Mom, I'm soaking the rug!" I wasn't really thinking and yelled from the living room "Its ok, we'll clean it up." I thought maybe she was splashing and some of the water went over the side of the tub. A few minutes later I walked by the bathroom door and saw her standing up in the tub dumping cup fulls of water onto the bathroom rug and flooding the floor...whoops.
We got a call from Wade to report that he had met the infamous Cooper (Wayne & Amy's Puggle) and that he was headed to the mountains for the wedding.
And we went to check out Irvine Nature Center, a nature museum with all kid- friendly/interactive exhibits that teach about nature and animals in our area. Its surrounded by 116 acres of woodlands with walking trails and its free to the public. Well, I think some of the classes and events cost money, but its free to check out the museum and grounds. Elle loved it, we were there a little over 2 hours and I know she would have stayed all afternoon if I let her. I tried to take her outside to walk on the trail, but she kept stopping and saying "I be right back...I need to go back inside." So after picking up a rock for Daddy, we went back inside and played with all the exhibits again. The place was pretty cool. I'd like to go back when its a little cooler so we can spend some time outside, plus I think Wade would really like it.
