Monday started out even more Monday than usual, if you know what I mean. Wade and I both hit crazy traffic on the way to work, making us both late. Ellie begged Wade to stay at school with her and was super sad to see him go. And it went on and on from there. Throwing every single low blow a Monday has to offer.
But then, the work day was over.
We got home and grilled some burgers for dinner. Ellie jumped on her trampoline while Wade did some yard work and I took Magoo for a walk. Making the best of the summer-like weather we stayed outside until there was no light left in the sky. When I came back from my walk I opened the gate to the back yard and saw Ellie come running out the back door in her bathing suit and jump right into the kiddie pool she had filled up with the hose.

She looked at me a giggled and said "Daddy said I could!!"

A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!!! I only wish I lived next door so I could've come for the walk and Aidan and Clare could have gone for a dip with Elle.
