Turns out being a semi-hoarder can have positive affects on your child.
For the last four years I have been sticking Ellie's little drawings and art projects from Mimi's and then school in a box in our coat closet.
Yesterday morning I was looking for something in the box and left it down in the basement. When we got home she started going through it. She kept showing Wade and I stuff and telling us a little story about each thing, like the dough ornament she made at Mimi's when she was 2 or the first art project she made in Ms. Joan's class.
It was cool to see her remembering little moments from her life. I think I need to edit the box some, or maybe I just need to get a bigger box.
