Last Sunday night, Ellie asked if she could get her hair cut. I said sure. "Tomorrow. Right after school. And I want it cut just like yours, to my shoulders." (I got my hair cut two weeks ago)
She has never had a hair cut, not even a trim. She was practically bald until she was two. So I was happy to hear she was curious about getting her hair cut since it was getting pretty long.
I wasn't sure she would actually go through with it, but when I picked her up Monday afternoon, and three of her teachers mentioned that she told them she was getting a hair cut, I knew she was serious.
We got to the salon and she was a little nervous, but jumped right into the chair and sat (kind of) still just staring in the mirror as chunks of blond fell to the floor.
She got a cute little bob that I swear bounces when she walks and she looks like she's about 7 years old.

Love it! So crazy because I just took Lil to get her hair cut! She got it cut to right below her shoulders and she got a purple feather in it ;)
