living nativity

I've never been to a living nativity. In fact, I had never even heard of it until a few years ago.
Maybe its not a Catholic thing? Or a New York thing? Not sure.
We found out about one in our neighborhood from Elle's teacher and had to check it out. It was so cool, people acting out the nativity, live animals, bell choir, free hot chocolate and cookies...awesome!
We are definitely adding this to our family traditions.
