Ellie has been asking to go to the art museum ever since our trip to DC in October so we took a trip to the National Gallery. Turns out it was not exactly what she had in mind. I believe she called more than one piece of art 'boring'.
We spent about an hour in the museum, twenty of which was spent trying to find our way out. And then we ran around outside for a while, eating ice cream and having running races in the shadows of the Capital and the Washington Monument.
What else are you gonna do when you get handed a 75 degree day at the end of November?
