S and H

A week or two ago, when I picked Ellie up from "school", a little girl ran by as we were walking off the playground and one of the teachers called out to her "S- don't you want to say goodbye to your friend?"
S turned around and Ellie ran toward her, they hugged and said goodbye. And the hallelujah chorus in my head went nuts. She made a little friend! That day, the teacher had read a book about friends, best friends, and she asked the class if anyone had a best friend and S announced "Elizabeth is my best friend!"

We have been hearing some stories lately about Elle's friends S and H- the old H, not the new one, because the new one is mean like R . (says Ellie) Its cool to hear her talk about her little friends, I would love to be a fly on the wall and listen to an actual conversation between them.
