Who's up for a little Friday Afternoon Rant?

Yea, me too, so let's get started:

I cannot concentrate. At all! It is Friday afternoon of a long, long, long week and my brain shut off at 10 this morning which means I have been super unproductive today. And we all know that makes the day drag on and on. Maybe today will be the day that my super power will present itself to me and I will be able to make time stop and speed up. Hmmm, that's probably not going to happen considering my lack of concentration.

I am drinking some hot tea because I am tired and freezing and walking to the drink room to get some seemed like a good way to spend five minutes. Turns out that the trip only took up about three minutes and someone left a box of strawberry pop tarts in the drink room to torture me. So I am back at my desk done with the tea and still dreaming of the pop tarts.

This weekend is Colum's christening and we were all set to go, but Nana came down with the flu this past week and we are a little paranoid for Elle to get the flu, so we decided that Wade would stay home with Elle and I could go by myself. ROAD TRIP...Alone! Its been years since I have done that. And then, Jenny and Nana ganged up on me and told me not to come because of the bad weather forecast, flu germs that could still be in Nana's house, blah, blah. So it looks like my little road trip is off. Man, I had all these presents to deliver to people and I really wanted to be there for the christening.
