Poor Corn

In the car this morning:
M: Elle look at that field, all the corn is gone.
E: Poor corn, what happened?
M: The guys cut it down because it was all dried out.
E: Bad mans cutting down that corn! (all angry)
M: Well, that's what they do every year, when it gets all dried out they cut it down and it grows back in the spring.
E: Oh, its ok, those workers were just doing their job.
