1. Last week we saw a VW Thing on the way to work one morning and Elle and I decided that is the car we need to have. I called Wade to tell him and he politely chuckled on the other end of the phone. I think he hung up and logged onto the web to find us one. I bet he'll give it to me for Christmas this year!
2. Sunday morning we wanted to make some cookies but we don't have any flour (or power as Ellie says) so I was telling her that we couldn't make them because we were out of flour and she said, "Yes we can, we can just use milk." Hehe. I love two-year-old reasoning.
3. Kids here go back to school in two weeks. Unbelievable. I think we are going to have to move before Elle starts school to a state that starts school after Labor Day.
4. Last week we were driving behind some type of mo-ped and Elle says to me "Look, its a bicycle (motorcycle)...its have a girl on it...where's her helmet?" I thought it was funny that she noticed that the girl did not have a helmet on.
5. I scored 2 huge bags of hand-me-down clothes from Mimi's neighbor this morning. Tons of pants, jeans, tees, dresses, shorts. Sweet!
