Just Peachy

Last week our neighbors (yes the ones we were feuding with) dropped off some fresh-picked peaches. We forgot to bring them away with us, so today was the first time I had one. And it was yummy.

A few things about peaches:
They are pretty much the most summery fruit in my mind, well, maybe watermelon beats them...but that's it.
Wade loves peach flavored stuff, peach iced-tea, peach margaritas, but he doesn't really like peaches, because of the fuzz (same as me) so we almost always buy nectarines.
One time me and my mom took a trip to see my sister Jenny at school in Rhode Island. It was mid September, you know the time of year where it is cool enough to finally wear a sweater with your shorts and the sky is so bright blue that it makes those puffy white clouds look even bigger. Well, it was that kind of day and we rode the ferry across LI Sound to Connecticut and drove the rest of the way to Rhode Island. On the way back home we stopped at a little farm stand and bought a bottle of fresh peach juice and homemade potato chips. Eating this peach just reminded me of how much fun that day was. When I think back on these little memories I have with my mom, I can't help but think of all the fun stuff Elle and I will do together.
