Weekly Rant

I am sitting here thinking of all kinds of stuff...
1. I don't feel like working anymore today, I wonder if blogging counts since when people walk by my door and stare in (which they always do) it kind of looks like I am busy.
2. Why do you think people stare into my office when they walk by? I wonder if they think something really cool is going on in here? Well, I mean besides me...hehehe.
3. Elle is wearing this totally cute dress today, hopefully she keeps it kind of clean since her grandparents are coming tonight.
4. I have a stack of cardboard boxes measuring about 8 feet high and 6 fee wide sitting next to my desk, actually almost on top of my desk. I named it the Berlin Wall.
5. The other day in the car Ellie told me she was "frustrated"...too funny.
6. Over the next 12 months I have to save enough money to join a pool and buy myself a bicycle. I think I can do it, I just have to stay focused and stop buying myself cute stuff.
7. A cute hair cut in October is not the same in the heat and humidity of June, can someone please remind me of that the next time I say I want to cut my hair. Now I know why I have had long hair most of my life. Looks like I will be rockin a pony tail for the next four months until this horrible weather is gone.
8. Its official, the best thing about Summer is the fact that there are only 4 more months until Fall.
9. I wonder if I will ever be able to stop biting my nails. There was a brief period right around our wedding that I was able to grow them out. But now they are all chewed down again.
10. Oh my gosh- the best thing just happened! It deserves its own post, but I am already here so I might as well finish this rant out on a high note!
I just called Wade to see how his day is going and I was telling him that I ran to the store at lunch to pick up some things (soap, toothpaste, etc) and he tried to act mad, saying "You shop every day!"
So I said "Come on, just let me quit my job and I promise I'll stop shopping."
And he said YES!
So just to clarify I asked again "So I can quit my job if I stop shopping?"
YES again! (I wonder if he was drinking at lunch)
Hmmmm, I am going to start planning all the cool stuff Elle and I will do all day long. This is going to be so fun. I think I am going to love being a stay at home mom!
Maybe I should save up a little money before I quit. You know, for the bike and the pool. I guess I better go get some work done since I only have a few months left here.
