I wonder how much longer it is going to keep raining around here. How can there be any moisture left in the sky? How do people in the Northwest deal with this? I like a good rainy, grey day more than most, but this is a little much.
I know, I know, we need the rain. We are in some kind of rain deficit, so people who have well water are just thrilled by this never ending soak. I, on the other hand, have city water and am in serious need of a few sunny days...
1.Our grass is up to Elle's waist (and if you read the last few posts, that's pretty high considering her height) but it won't stop raining long enough for us to cut it.
2. I am sick of wearing my rain jacket everyday. Its too big and its not cute!
3. My hair does not do too well in rainy or humid weather, too many bad hair days in a row is not good for you.
The bright side...
1. I heard that letting your grass grow rather than cutting every week makes the roots grow stronger, and somehow that is "green" so hooray for us and the earth.
2. Wade gave me the go ahead to buy a cute new raincoat, which pretty much means that as soon as I get the new one a drought will begin.
3. There is no bright side to a string of bad hair days.
4. Elle looks extra adorable in her raincoat and rain boots.
