Light Brown or Dark Brown

Elle has been learning her colors. She's doing pretty good, she recognizes most colors.
So the other night I was reading her a book before bed, its the same book we have been reading for a week. She points to a girl's hair and asks what color it is.
I say "Light Brown".
She says "No, this is brown," -pointing to Dora's hair
I say "Well, that is brown, but this is Light Brown".
She points to Diego's hair and says "No, this is brown".
So I say "This is light brown, like mommy's hair".
She rolls toward me and looks at me and says "I like you hair".

Guess we will save this lesson for another day.
