Sunday night it started snowing and snowed through the night into Monday morning. I think we got about 6 inches, which is kind of a lot for our neck of the woods. Our neighborhood is all snowy and sparkly. I love it! I was a little worried when Elle woke up and I opened up her curtains and told her it was snowing and she casually said "Oh", as if I had told her it were raining.
It was the first time Elle really got to play in the snow and she loved it so much, she talked about it all day. "Me and Daddy and Magoo played in the snow...it was fun!" That's what she told me last night when I got home from work. Yes, that's right, when I got home from work...
Wade's office ended up closing so he got to stay home with Elle and since my office wouldn't close if it were sitting on top of an active volcano that was about to erupt, I went into work. Nobody likes a snow day more than me, but since Wade could stay home with Elle, it seemed like the right thing to do. Think I'll take a "sick" day next week as a reward for good behavior.
