A9

This is where our trip to Omaha began, in lot A, section 9 at BWI. We parked and unloaded all of our stuff and got on the shuttle to go to the terminal. As we were sitting on the bus I looked at Elle and said Wow, you have never been in a moving vehicle with out sitting in a car seat...then Wade and I realized we forgot her car seat in the car. So I got off the shuttle and went back to the car to get the car seat and got on another shuttle to meet Wade and Elle at the airport.
Once we got through security with plenty of time to spare, Elle had a few hours to run around the airport. When we finally boarded our first flight (to St. Louis) we got all settled in and the pilot told us that there was something wrong with the plane so we had to get off the plane and get on another one...an hour later!
The delay did not stop Ellie from having a great time in the airport and on the flight. As we were walking down the hallway to get on the plane she was yelling "Weeee!". Everyone on our flight was laughing saying she was the only one on the flight who was still in a good mood at that point.
She loved the plane, the flight wasn't full so she got to have her own seat in between us and watch some Dora and have some snacks. Then she fell asleep for the last 45 minutes of the flight, so she was not very happy when we arrived in St Louis to catch our next flight.
We got on the second flight, which was only an hour so she was fine. And we finally arrived in Omaha around 9:45 pm.
Kay and Brian picked us up at the airport and drove us to Amy's parents house where we were staying with Wayne and Amy. After a little more TV, we finally got Elle to bed around midnight.
