1. I feel pretty lucky that our daughter has some pretty good manners. I mean, she is not going to be invited to Buckingham Palace for dinner anytime soon, but she does say please, thank you, excuse me, God bless you and sorry.
2. The other day I heard the song "When You Get Stuck Between The Moon and New York City" It has been years since I have heard that song. I hated it when I was a kid and I still do.
3. Last week I heard the Police "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" and I decided that it is my favorite song!
4. I am having a very, very, very bad hair day today!
5. My whole neighborhood looks like it is covered in royal icing, I love the winter!
6. This morning I saw a blue jay in a tree, when I was little my Mom would always point out blue jays and cardinals when she saw them in the yard. Something about those bright colored birds on a grey winter day made them really special. I'm glad I have a mom that took the time to make little things special.
7. At this time next Thursday Elle and I will be on our way to pick up Wade and head to BWI. We are flying to Omaha, NE to celebrate Grandma Hughes' 90th birthday.
I can't wait. I like Omaha, it's Wade's Amityville.
