Yesterday we got about 2 inches of snow, for which people at work insisted they had to leave the office at lunch time...huh? Anyway, in preparation for the "storm" I bought Elle some snow boots on Monday. Last night after fighting with her to get them on, we went out to play in the snow and she loved it! She was running around the yard slipping and sliding and she loved it. And of course Magoo was thrilled that we got some snow.
Last night we got some freezing rain so there is ice everywhere. Right now Wade and I are waiting for the roads to get a little better before we go to work. Elle is walking around the house with her backpack on saying "Bye, I love you". I think she heard us talking about schools being closed and she is pretending she is going to school.
