We had another fun Fall weekend in the Hughes house. Did our Friday night "usual" over at the Murphy's house. And even though they are moving from fabulous Parkville, we still plan to continue our Friday night fun! And this weekend Billy came down for a visit, so Elle got to meet Quinn's "Uncle B".
Saturday we did some running around which included Elle shaking us down for a Diego doll at the Hallmark store. I mean come on, how can we resist that little face! Then we went to Target after dinner and got our new Dyson dustbuster. Wade let me get the pink one! I have not used it yet, but I can't wait...yes, I am pathetic!
Sunday was Ryan's 4th birthday party so we went up to Milky Way Farms in PA to pet the animals and go on a hay ride and pick pumpkins. We have seen more goats, chickens and sheep this fall than I am sure I have in my whole life. I think we went to the LI Game Farm once a year when we were little with school, but all I remember there is the llamas and how much they smelled. Now this little one has been to the 4H fair where she milked a cow (it was fake), and been to 4 different farms with petting zoos over the last 5 weeks. And she loves it! She had a great time at the party. I think her favorite part was the tractor ride. She stood on Wade's lap and stared at the tractor the whole time. After cake and ice cream and a sweet pinata, we headed home. We stopped on the way for some more pumpkins, and when we got home, raked some leaves and played outside. Elle found a hose attachment and was walking around the yard making gun noises. Yup, that's my sweet little girl!
