Dora's In The House

Not sure if anyone knew this, but Dora lives at our house. That's right, she shares a room with Elle- well that is when she does not get left laying on the basement floor at night. Elle has a huge Dora doll. I think it is life size, she is as tall as Ellie and with that huge head of hers, she looks even bigger. When she tries to walk up or down the stairs while holding Dora, she says "She's heavy...hold her" Dora does everything with us, except come to Mimi's. She stays home and watches Magoo during the day- though they stay separated because Magoo would eat the stuffing out of Dora if he could!
We have recently learned that Elle will pretty much do anything if Dora is doing it. So when she needs her diaper changed, we have to change Dora's diaper too. Luckily they wear the same size diaper (haha). She also borrows pajamas from Ellie and she sleeps on the bed in Elle's room. Of course she has to be covered with a blankie.
She even gets a bath, well, she got one once. Last Thursday she got dunked in the tub a few times while I was getting Ellie ready for the bath. (She doesn't get that stuffed dolls don't go in a tub full of water.) Dora is also learning how to use the potty- she sits her on the kid potty and goes pppppsssssss. (that comes with sound effects from Elle, since that's what you do on the potty). Guess it could be worse- she could have dunked her in the real toilet!

So the other night we were laying in bed watching TV and she was holding Dora and she hugged her and looked at her face and said "You happy Dora? You happy?"
