18 Months Old

Friday Elle turned 18 months old. How did that happen. I can't believe at this time last year she was not even eating real food. Actually I guess that is still kind of the same since her diet these days consists of fruit snacks, hot dogs, and mac and cheese.

Thursday she got 3 shots at the doctor and she was mad! And since she was sad and I needed a new hair dryer I decided a trip to Target was in order. I mean its right next door to the doctor and it is our favorite place! So for some unknown reason I thought she could handle being out of the cart at Target. (not sure what I was thinking there, but it will not happen again) When I finally got her back into the cart, she would only go into the big part. I had picked up a few things for some of the cousins who have birthdays coming up and one of them was an Indiana Jones whip. So there we are rolling up and down the aisles of Target and she keeps hitting the button on this whip which plays the Indiana Jones theme song accompanied by a whipping sound. I think I made a lot of moms feel really good about themselves that day!

Oh well, she had fun and I got some good laughs in between wrestling her into the cart.

On Friday we were home too so we went to Weber's farm to pet the animals and run around for a little while. Then we went over the the Murphy's for some pizza and got to hang out with Quinn for a little while. Quinn is her little pal. She loves to see him.
