Monday night Wade got home a little late. Ellie and I were already sitting down eating dinner so he came in a sat right down at the table and said hello to both of us. She was distracted or daydreaming and finally responded hello back.
Then she looked him in the eye and said "By the way, I'm a little mad at you."
He asked why.
She said "Because you didn't kiss me goodbye this morning."
He explained that he did kiss the top of her head but that she was too busy giggling with her friends to pay attention to him.
In other news, we have a back to school picnic tonight where we get to meet her Kindergarten teacher and check out her classroom. She is counting down the days until school starts. She is super excited. Which is making me way less nervous about the whole thing. Its funny how that works.
