road trip

Last weekend we took a road trip. 

We ended up on the streets of England in a phone booth.

Riding Clydesdales through the fields of Scotland.

Flying through the air in a balloon over Italy.

Watching a street performance by a real live leprechaun in Ireland.

And catching a fireworks show over the Rhine River in Germany.


All that and we only had to drive four hours.

Busch Gardens is super fun and the perfect vacation spot for the three of us.  Ellie and Wade got to be dare devils and ride every roller coaster they could.  They convinced me to go on two rides and I was scared to death, one of them was a kid roller coaster.  I got to take a long walk in Colonial Williamsburg one morning since it was so close to our hotel.  And Magoo got to make his mark on historic ground, if you know what I mean.  We also spent a day at Water Country USA, which was really fun too especially because it was 100 degrees the day we went. 
We had so much fun, we might have to do it every summer.
