force field

You know the part at the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows when all the good wizards are lined up with their wands in the air creating a sort of force field around Hogwarts so the death eaters can't destroy it? That's kind of how I feel about our newly (kind of) installed alarm system. Every time we turn it on I imagine an invisible force field surrounding Dunwoody.

And you know how every time Voldemort would get into Harry's thoughts, he would go all crazy, trying to get him out of his head? I felt that way too when I set the stinkin alarm off the other morning. I have no idea what I was thinking when I woke up and walked downstairs to let Magoo out. But I do know I will never forget the noise when I opened the door. It was so darn loud, I just started screaming.

Wade came downstairs and turned the alarm off and I kept saying how sorry I was that I woke him and Ellie up. He said "It wasn't the alarm that woke me, it was you screaming like a lunatic!"

Oops.
