Yesterday we found out that Ellie is moving up to the pre K class next week. Which is cool, because she kind of out grew her class a few months ago, but we haven't really talked about her moving classes, so I was worried.
Last night at dinner, we all sat down and Wade explained that she would be moving. And she says " I know! Next week! I'm so excited!!"
Huh.
After that she asked me to help her carry all of her stuffed animals down to the basement so she could line them all up and take a picture with them. And then they could all watch a show together.
Sometimes we get so used to her acting like a 'big' kid that the moments when she acts like a little kid feel bittersweet to me.
