halloween

Halloween is over, which is kind of bumming me out this year. Not that I am not super excited about Thanksgiving and Christmas and the perfect fall weather we are having right now. It just feels like it is going super fast. Like it was just last weekend that Elle and I were sitting at the pool eating snowballs and now it is November. Oh well, I guess time really does fly when you're having fun.

Elle dressed up as Barbie this year. She looked so cute in her costume. We were the first ones to start trick-or-treating in our neighborhood and every house she walked up to, she made sure we did not follow her up to the door, she wanted to do it all by herself. Which was kind of a surprise.

After making it half way around the block she decided that she wanted to go home and hand out candy to the other kids. So we went home and ate and she bounced upstairs from the basement every time someone came to the door. And then we went back out to trick-or-treat again for a little bit longer. A house in our neighborhood goes crazy with decorations on Halloween so we had to trick-or-treat there once it was dark.

By the time we were headed back home, Wade had to carry Barbie and her pumpkin was filled to the top with candy. Two signs of an awesome Halloween if you ask me.
