Last week, Elle had her first dentist appointment. I was kind of dreading it since I can still remember the weirdo dentist I went to as a kid. But along with growing up in a world with Target, On Demand (TV without commercials), and digital cameras, today's kids also have Pediatric dentists. Whoever thought up this concept is a genius and I would like to send them a box of my best cookies.
The office was bright and filled with toys and everyone was nice. She got to pick out a big stuffed animal who would have their exam first to show Elle how its done. She picked Minnie Mouse. So Minnie got the big green sunglasses and had her teeth counted and then it was Ellie's turn. She had her teeth counted and cleaned and when we were done, she got to pick out a few little treats. And she got her name on the No Cavity wall. (thanks to Wade for fighting the tooth brushing battle every morning)
