Tomorrow night we are leaving for NY to spend the 4th at Nana & Papa's house. Ellie is super excited to be going to the beach. She's been talking about going to the beach since March so its about time we went.
She's been asking me all week why she can't stand in the ocean, now that she can stand in the pool. Before I can even come up with an answer, she quickly says 'Because the waves will knock me over!'. Sounds like she has been talking this over with Dad for a little while.
We have a lot of stuff we want to do while we are there, but really we would just be happy to go to the beach, see some fireworks and maybe eat some pie. Ok, I would be happy to eat pie.
