sprung

On Friday morning Erin called me to say she was coming up to get Saddie and that she wanted to pick up Ellie from school early. When she got to the school all of the teachers could not get over how much she looked and sounded like me. Its funny, I just assume everyone knows I am a twin, but really most people I see and talk to on a daily basis have never met her.
Anyway, she walked to the door of the classroom and Ellie was sitting near the door facing the other way because they were watching a movie and she said Ellie's name and after a few seconds of figuring out what Erin, Aidan and Clare were doing in her school, she jumped up and was ready to go. Erin said she actually ran out of the classroom calling over her shoulder to Aidan and Clare "Come on guys!" Like 'let's get out of here before they make she stay'.
Not only did Ellie get sprung early from school, but she got to go to the diner for lunch and get her first tutorial on arse kickin from her godmother. Some cranky old guy said to Erin 'do you think you could get those kids to stop screaming'. To which Erin politely responded 'do you think maybe you could have the waitress move you to a different table!?!'
She is a professional people, you do not mess with the twin and you especially do not mess with her kids. As a matter of fact I think that cranky old guy was pretty lucky she had her kids with her because if they were not, he might have been in tears by the time she was done with him.
I am proud to say she taught me everything I know and now she will be doing the same for the next generation.
