christmas in july

I don't fully understand the whole idea behind Christmas in July, but this year I decided to use it as a guide to help me organize my time and projects for the holidays. The goal is to actually enjoy the holidays and not spend the 5 weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas running around like a maniac trying to get everything done. I spend my whole year running around like a maniac, so you can just imagine how I am during the holidays.
Here's a sneak peak at two gifts I already got for Elle here and here.
I got these wooden figures that look like the old school 'people' that we had as kids, so I asked Wade if he thought he could build her a dollhouse. Just a small, simple, open-type house that she could play with the people in. Next thing I know, he is on the computer looking up blueprints for dollhouses.
