Well, in case you were wondering, I did not receive my much needed phone call/email/text yesterday.
What I got instead was a house full of crap when I walked in the door. That's right.
Magoo is sick, more specifically, he ate too much out of the trash (we think) and he crapped all over the house.
All in all, I think I handled the situation pretty well, considering how I felt yesterday. I did not use any curse words- which let's face it is news itself. I let him outside and got to work cleaning up the mess. All the while Ellie is standing behind me battering me with questions about my clean up methods and what is wrong with Magoo.
'What's wrong with Bud?...Why do you have to spray that stuff?...Why are you wiping that stuff off?...Why can't he come inside?'
And I didn't even call Wade and freak out. As a matter of fact it wasn't even the first thing I told him when he walked in the door.
After dinner Elle and I took Magoo for a long walk so we could enjoy the beautiful weather we are having. So I guess what started as a blah kind of day ended up ok.
