This is a picture of the Ellie on the day she took her first steps, which feels like a million years ago.
Over the weekend she experienced some more things for the first time. She jumped in the pool all by herself and swam under water and Wade was trying to teach her how to dive.
And she also went to see her first movie in the movie theater, Toy Story 3. She sat in the chair in between Wade and I with a huge bucket of popcorn on her lap and every once in a while she would look at one of us with a huge smile on her face. Even though she fell asleep half way through the movie, I know she loved it.
And while the day she took her first steps will forever be stuck in my memory, I have a feeling these new things may be forever stuck in hers.
