'We can't go out, our car will get stuck in the snow!'
Monday on the way to work after blizzard # 1. As we are driving I said something about not being able to turn onto a street because there is too much snow. She says ' I told you we were going to get stuck...I told you.'
After breakfast this morning, we were sitting at the table and I look over and she has her hand in a fist and she is coloring the side of her pointer finger and thumb. She turns to me and says (while moving her fingers up and down) 'Hi, what's your name?'
When she got her package from Kaygee and Pop Pop for Valentines day, she put on the heart shaped sunglasses and said 'I look like a rock star!' Then she put on her new Dora night gown and thought she looked like a super hero. Here's a picture of her doing super hero 'poses' on her bed.

I was opening the door of the fridge and she comes running up behind me and starts smacking me on the butt and says 'Look at your big butt Mom!'
We had just gotten back from the food store where she asked to get out of the cart, I lifted her out and just as she was about to take off running a woman walked by and Elle literally stopped in her tracks turned around and said 'Wow, look at that big butt.' I could not believe my ears! I almost cracked up laughing but for once in my mom life I took the high road and acted like an adult and walked her over to the other side of the store and tried to explain to her that what she said is rude and it could hurt someone's feelings. Slippery slope.
I am not proud to admit that when I re-told the story to Wade later on, I cracked up.
