Snow Day

Is anyone sick of snow posts yet? Yea, me neither.
We are getting another blizzard again today, which apparently has nothing to do with snow fall amounts, but with wind. Another 12 inches on the ground, which we can't even get out to shovel because the wind is whipping around. The tunnels Wade shoveled in the front yard are almost totally covered up again. And we have not seen a plow come down our street since Saturday.
The good news is, my office closed today! I know, I still can't believe it. In the 6 years I have worked there, they have never closed. Come to think of it, we never got over 30 inches of snow in those 6 years either.
A Saturday in the middle of the week...hooray! So far we have made some valentines, a few crafts, baked a cake and cleaned up the house a little. Ellie got a new Dora nightgown from Kaygee and Pop Pop for Valentines day so she has been wearing that all day. Looks like she figured out what snow days are all about: jammies all day, lots of tv and lots of junk food.
Last night I waited a little too long to leave work so our 40 minute commute turned into a two hour journey. Luckily Elle didn't loose it until we were about 25 minutes from home and Wade picked up some burgers for dinner that were waiting in the oven for us when we got home.
