I really love Thanksgiving. It is such a cozy little holiday. No big expectations, just a lot of food and always the best company. We spent the day at Wayne and Amy's new house. And Wade and I even got to eat a nice quiet meal together, at the same table and the only reason we got up during the meal was for seconds.
I am sure I have said it before but I will say it again, right here, right now. If you do not have a mini dvd player for your child, RUN to the closest mega store and buy one. As a matter of fact, buy one for each kid. It may not work if you have not been blessed with a tv lovin kid like ours, if that's the case...sorry. But she, of course, didn't want to eat dinner, so she sat on the couch and watched a show and we got to enjoy a nice quiet meal. Now that's something to be thankful for.
By the way, Elle has a new pal. Aaron, Amy's brother-in-law. Elle was playing ball with him all night and every time he got the ball away from her she would say "That man is quick!".
