Today is Ellie's first day of "school". Wade and I went together to drop her off this morning. And she was so excited. She walked around the classroom checking out all the stuff with Wade while I put all of her stuff away in her cubby. She waved hello right away to the teacher and to a little girl in her class. When it was time for us to leave, she gave us both a kiss and said goodbye and walked off with her teacher and new friend to look out the window and wave goodbye to us.
I know it will not be like this everyday, but I'll take it for today. I called a little while ago and her teacher said she was having a great time and that she was a bright little girl.
