1. A few weeks ago, it might have actually been on our road trip, Elle and I started playing I Spy in the car. Its so fun, and she is kind of good at it. I don't know where she learned about I Spy or how to play it, but I think its cool that she thought it would be a good car game.
2. Elle got a new Barbie princess movie last weekend and we watched it Sunday night together, well not Wade, he was in the basement yelling at the Bears or Yankees.
At bedtime, we were laying in her bed and she said 'That was a really good Princess movie'. Something about the way she said it felt so old to me, I can't explain it.
3. Last night we saw a hot air balloon flying over Mimi's house when I picked Elle up. I am going for a ride in one of those things someday, they look so cool. Just have to get over this little fear of heights I have.
4. On the way to Mimi's the other day, Elle says "Mommy, look at that tree, the leaves are changing. I love Fall." Its cool that she notices so much about the world now.
5. Wade has been teaching Elle about the planets. So this morning he asked her which was her favorite planet and she said "Myanus" Heehee...I will be cracking up about that for years to come. Wade and I stood there giggling for a few minutes after she said it.
6. Halloween is almost a week away which means we have lots to do: buy pumpkins and carve them, finish decorating the house and get ready for Elle's little Halloween party, and I need to find a costume!
7. Elle went to the pumpkin patch today and then to McDonalds for lunch, beats the pants off the day I am having!
