Half Birthday

In the blink of an eye my little Elle has turned 2 1/2 years old. I know half birthdays are not really supposed to be a big deal after kids turn a certain age, but who cares, I still think its a big deal. She is getting more crazy, hilarious, cool, beautiful and sassy every single day.
This week she is sick so her voice is all raspy which makes some of the crazy stuff she says sound even funnier. Like last night when we were having an argument about putting on her pjs and she was laying on the bed saying "Mommy, don't look at me." "Don't talk to me." Of course when Wade comes upstairs, she lays perfectly still and lets him put her pjs on and she looks at me and says "haha". I am not even kidding. So I start ranting on and on, telling her that from now on when she wants something from me, like her songs on in the car, juice, milk, a snack, a show on, that I am not going to give her what she wants, I am just going to say "haha". And when I am almost done with the rant, she looks over at me and put her finger up to her mouth and went "Shhhhhh!". Un-be-lievable! Of course, Wade was hysterical and I couldn't help but laugh too.
