Just Life

Last week Elle and I were in the basement and she turned to run into the tv room and slid on something and fell, and in the process literally skinned her shin on the drawer from our oven. No, we don't have an oven in our basement, it was down there because Wade took it out of the kitchen to battle the ants a few weeks ago and it has not made it back up to the kitchen yet. I will spare you the details but it was bad. And Wade was at the baseball game so it was up to me to save the day. Usually he is the hero in these situations, he's the calm one in this duo. I got her all bandaged up and calmed down.

Saturday we went to the Johnny Appleseed Festival and had a blast. Hay maze, hay ride, carmel apples and apple cide slush. It was a fun day and later on we went back to our house and had our friends over for dinner.

Sunday morning, we went to Target with Erin, Aidan and Clare. Wade went to the "guys" aisle with Aidan. Elle, Clare and I went to the princess/barbie aisle. The two of them walked up and down that aisle in awe. Everything they touched/looked at they said "Oh my gosh...look at this. Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh!"

Elle started gymnastics a few weeks ago, this session her teacher is a man. He talks like Crush from Nemo, its hilarious. (In case you are not as familiar with Nemo as we are, we watch it on repeat, think Bill from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.)
