Awake

Last night:
1:00 am Little feet shuffle into our room, and jump in our bed...we have lost count of how many nights this has happened.

4:00am Pouring down rain outside, Wade and I wake up at the same time and walk around half asleep closing windows.

4:40am I wake up with my one hand totally asleep because of the way I am laying- which by the way, is on the edge of the bed because the queen is spread out in the center of the bed and one leg almost asleep because Magoo is sleeping on top of it...turn over and go to slide my sleeping hand under my pillow and I feel something wet. At first I can't be sure it is actually wet because of the state of my hand so I check with the other hand and say out loud "What is this wet spot?!" Wade wakes up "What wet spot?" Elle wakes up "I'm all wet!" In a panicked voice like it wasn't her diaper that overflowed! After laying three towels down and getting back in bed for 10 more minutes I got up and took Magoo for a walk...since we were all awake anyway.
