Homecoming

Wade came home on Monday. We were super excited to go to the airport and pick him up. I picked up Elle at 2:30 from Mimi's- she was still napping so I went in and laid down next to her on her mat and she opened her eyes and gave me a sleepy little smile. Then she jumped up, I think she remembered why I was there so early.
We got to the airport a little early because I wanted her to see the Observation Deck, its a waiting area with a mini airplane for kids to play on and a huge wall of windows with an awesome view of all the planes landing. She played for a while and watched the planes and then we went down to pick up Wade at baggage claim.
I wish, wish, wish I had a video camera for this...we were walking down the stairs to go find Wade and we were almost to the bottom when we saw him. Elle almost jumped down the last five steps to get to him. She was so excited, she jumped into his arms and kept hugging and kissing him and every once in a while she would pull her head back to took at his face, like she wanted to make sure it was real.
