Saturday was Clare's 2nd birthday. Elle and I were wrapping a few presents that Nana had sent down before we went to the party. So when we got to the party the first thing Elle did was walk up to Clare and give her a birthday hug and then said "Clare...we got you horses!"
On Sunday Elle and I were out in the yard and I asked her what she wanted to play and she said "Let's play "Find Ellie"(hide and seek)!" Which was actually Find Mommy because she wanted to count. So there she was standing with her back to me in the middle of the yard counting out loud and I was hiding behind a tree. I could have frozen that minute in time. Just watching her being a kid doing cool kid stuff is my favorite thing. And when she found me, she was so excited. After we were done playing we sat down to have something to drink and she looked at me and said "What do want to drink Maureen?"
