Ahhhhhhh

Its Sunday afternoon and we are all four doing our own thing. Wade is sitting on the couch watching TV, Elle is in the basement having a picnic with crackers and kettle corn while watching TV, Magoo is watching out the window waiting for the next person to walk by so he can bark at them, personally I think he is begging the passers by to save him from his crazy family, but I can't be sure. And I am baking some bread to have with dinner.
Its been a good long weekend. Friday night we got some take out and played a round of Dora Memory game. Saturday Wade took Magoo to the vet in the morning and I cleaned up while Elle "swam" in the tub for 45 minutes. I think I made a big mistake last week by letting her take a bath in her bathing suit. Now she wants to put it on every time. Oh well, whatever it takes to get that little rascal clean! When Wade got home he and Elle were playing in her room, and they both fell asleep. So I went out to do some stuff in the yard and play with Magoo. When they both woke up, we went to the awesome playground. When we pulled up, Elle started yelling "We're here, we're here!!" We ran around the playground for a while, stopped at the store on the way home to pick up a few things and went home to have dinner. After dinner Wade made us a homemade funnel cake....yum! Who needs a carnival?
Today we did some arts and crafts in the back yard, played in the baby pool and water table, did some yard work, and Wade finished up some work on our sparkly new windows. Busy, busy, busy. A nice family weekend, just what we needed.
